This guy is the perfect family horse. Pull him out of the pasture every day, or once a month, and have the same horse every time. He packs the kids around in the ring, on the trails, and on hunter paces. He goes anywhere you point him, bravely and honestly. His size is ideal for a family, as the little ones won't feel over faced, yet still being big enough for the adults (rider in the video is 5"9) to enjoy. His personality is the best! He loves to give back scratches and kisses, and will stand around for hours to be loved on. Boston loves his people, and will gladly do any job with any rider, from the cross country course, trail rides, dressage, and more! He will also sit and lay down on command! • In the ring, Boston is straightforward and tolerant. He is doing first level dressage tests and will pop over small jumps. The kids are always choosing him for their riding lessons, and taking him out on hacks afterwards. He will ride in a frame, or on a loose rein, he's soft in the bridle and very easy to ride. His canter is the smoothest you'll find! He picks up both leads, has great walk to canter transitions, and is easily adjustable. Kids, and adults, of all ages and experience levels have ridden him. • On the trails and off property, Boston is a very good boy. He's gone on lots of hunter paces with the kids and always gets his rider to the other side, even if they don't do the best job of setting him up. He trail rides alone or in a group, and is happy leading or following the pack. He is as point and shoot as one can get. He will bravely cross any obstacle, river, bank, etc that you ask him to. He is a reliable and steadfast partner, in and out of the arena. Boston crosses water, logs, is safe in traffic, and is quiet with other animals and livestock. Load him up and take him anywhere and know he will be the same horse on or off property. He is a gentleman to trailer and a breeze to go places with. He is so much fun on the cross country course! He jumps around all of the questions with ease, and is simple enough for a kid, pony clubber, or novice rider to jump around the course with. • In the barn, Boston is a favorite! If you see his video clips, you can see that the kids are always all over him. He absolutely adores people, and is the biggest love bug always gently nuzzling you and giving you scratches with his nose. Though he is in your pocket, he is still very polite and well mannered. Boston is never pushy or rude - he is quite the gentleman! Boston is a good boy when stalled, and currently lives out 24/7 weather permitting in a mixed herd. He gets along well with others and is the easiest of keepers. Boston requires no maintenance, has no quirks, and is an overall solid citizen that everyone loves and enjoys! ♦️Clean recent vetting on file ♦️Our program produces versatile and family-friendly horses for all disciplines and levels of the sport.
