Er hat in vielen Bereichen auf der Ranch gearbeitet, vom Einsammeln und Sortieren von Rindern über das Schleppen von Kälbern zum Feuer bis hin zum Beladen von Lastwagen. Er behält in hektischen Situationen einen kühlen Kopf und geht gut mit sich selbst um. Er geht und joggt gut und hat einen sehr bequemen und leichten Trab. Jesse lässt sich sehr gut am Halszügel führen. Er kann auch rückwärts und seitwärts gehen. Man kann mit ihm auch Gatter öffnen und schließen. Er ist sehr gut im Gelände unterwegs. Er ist trittsicher und gibt einem ein sicheres Gefühl in allen Geländeformen. Jesse hat einen kleineren Packstring geführt. Jesse is an 8 year old, 15 hand John mule. He is a well trained, well rounded ranch mule. He has worked in many areas on the ranch from gathering and sorting cattle, to dragging calves to the fire, to loading trucks. He keeps his cool in busy situations and handles himself nicely. He walks and jogs nicely and he has a very comfortable and easy lope. Jesse neck reins very well. He backs and side passes as well. You can open and close gates on him too. He is excellent on the trails. Surefooted and he gives you a confident feeling on all types of terrain. Jesse has lead a smaller pack string. He has spent a couple summers at cow camp and seen that big country and does well with it.
