Ehrlicher, top-motivierter Konik

Leevi has grown up in an absolutely top-managed grazing project and was purchased by me at around 2 3/4 years old. Since then, he has learned everything related to a solid foundation in training. He is familiar with cars, tractors, trucks, many other animals, trains (he walks alongside the tracks, through train tunnels, and over bridges), can be lunged in an open field, knows the basics of groundwork (horsemanship), goes away from the stable alone, and remains completely relaxed when left alone. Due to his upbringing, he is very well socialized. The only thing that needs practice is loading onto a trailer; he has only been loaded twice - with calmness and patience, he follows you anywhere.

Last year, I started sitting on him occasionally. With a halter, without a saddle, and in the terrain - no problem. We are now doing short walks at a walk, still bitless with the halter, and he is doing really well. He also allows small children to lead him, is used to going as a companion horse, and also to pulling a cart. He has been on trail rides as a companion horse and stayed calm in unfamiliar places with a simple stick fence. He is also accustomed to standing in a box.

He is curious and open to everything unknown, accessible to everything, and always willing to compromise. Of course, he is a young horse and questions things on various levels - which has helped me grow a lot, as this has always been done in an absolutely honest and genuine way by him.

He stands with my Icelandic horse and Shetland pony in the paddock and has hay available 24/7. In summer, he is also sometimes out on the pasture 24/7. He has never been sick, his teeth and vaccinations are up to date, and he is regularly dewormed (last done in March). No laminitis, no eczema. He is barefoot and always behaves well with the farrier, veterinarian, and others. He was castrated in spring 2023.

I will only place him in an open stable environment or similar, with suitable companionship and to a person with heart and understanding. Additionally, with a buy-back option, as he should not become a mere trophy. I love this pony and want a corresponding home for him. Besides Konik, he also carries Liebenthaler genetics. He has a height of about 1.42m and turned 5 years old in February, so he has been worked with gently.

Of course, he has an equine passport. Space counts more than price, but I know what potential this pony has!
