He is a true dream horse with a mane that flows past his shoulder and a gorgeous thick tail to match. Queso is a conformationally correct, heavy built gelding with a big hip and shoulder.
Fully trained in all maneuvers, Queso is push button, he has been enjoyed by seasoned professionals to the most inexperienced riders. He is a huge stopper, lay your rein on his neck and say “whoa” he will give you a big deep slide stop every time. Queso is automatic, he has great spins, circles on a draped rein, and is extremely confident yet attentive to his rider. Queso has been successfully shown in the reining cow horse. He is automatic and loves to work, effortless lead changes, flawless transitions and is extremely soft in every way. He always aims to please and gives 100% try in every task that is thrown his way. Queso will work a cow, take one down the fence and has been started in the heeling, showing great promise. Queso would be a true standout in Ranch Versatility classes as well. Truly a point and go, Queso will cross any bridge, downfall, logs or water with ease, all while being attentive to where his feet are. He has been introduced to the ranch to gather, sort and ship cattle. His first day on the ranch you would’ve had no idea he was “the show horse” of the bunch!
