Ken rides super quiet in the arena, he is by far one of the smoothest horses to ride around. He rides one handed, catches both leads, neck reins and is super easy to lope around. Ken rides on a loose rein and loves to stay at a nice slow steady pace! He rides bareback and has been exposed to bags, tarps and flags.
Ken rides exceptionally quiet outside, he has been ranched on a bit and knows how to track a cow. We have branded a handful of times off of him and he takes everything with ease. He rides out on busy streets and has no spook. He doesn’t care about barking dogs, trash trucks or chaotic city noises. He is Bombproof!
Ken would make a great ranch trail horse prospect, he is very willing and trusts the rider that is on him. He has been used in parades and drill teams.
Ken gets along with other horses, he is easy to catch in his pen, doesn’t hesitate to load in a trailer and is great for the farrier. He is very polite on the ground and loves attention, he stays clean and is easy to groom.. Ken would be suitable for all level of riders. Ken never gets sour, he rides out alone or solo. We have truly enjoyed having Ken and has been a barn favorite.
